About Afreen Ahmed

Afreen Ahmed is a licensed attorney and mediator serving the Greater Houston area. She graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 2004. She began her career practicing family law in New York City. She earned her Texas license in 2007 and, in addition to family law, also began practicing in the areas of immigration law and estate planning. Afreen is also trained in mediation and is qualified to serve as a mediator in both civil and family law matters.

 As a native Houstonian, Afreen is passionate about serving the diverse city she grew up in. She strives to reach out to Houston’s immigrant and minority communities, who often face multiple barriers in their access to legal services.
